Abstract
Quantitatively, the success of higher education still focuses on achievement index which is based on the student’s cognitive aspect (hard skills) and ignores the emotional/ social intelligence ( soft skills). In fact soft skills are very needed in business world as there are some problems dealing with humans, such as how to do conflict resolution, understand personal dynamics and do negotiation. For that reason, the lecturers shoud be able to train how to develop students’ potential either hard skills or soft skills in order that they can apply both those skills being a holistic intelligence in real world. Eventhough teaching soft skills is not easy because it needs sincereness and full of convince, the lecturers can teach hard skills based on soft skills with the appropriate strategy or approach as college students need those skills to get success not only in work place but also in ncreasing their carrier or profession.
